Rhino
It's a little pixellated (.gif), but here's a still frame.
Just a little fun with Flash. My roomate and I were playing around with rhinos!

War Hawk
I apologize for the bad photo, but I just finished a painting and I can never get acrylic to look right on camera. The browns get lost in the blacks a little.

Karl Pilkington
"Head like a f***ing orange!"
I've been listening to the XFM show that Ricky Gervais, Steve Merchant, and the madman, Karl Pilkington, did before they did the "Ricky Gervais Podcasts" from cerca 2002-03.
PS. It is near impossible to draw Karl without it looking like the animated show on HBO. That character design is spot on.

Jazz Band
This past week I've been listening to a lot of old jazz and big band music. I love this music cause it's so inspirational and it's not distracting music to draw to.

MYTHBUSTERS
So I'm trying to do a lot more doodling, specifically observational doodles. I've been people watching around town and there are a lot of funny looking people that would make great caricatures. I'll be scanning in some as soon as I'm able to.
Anyways, here's one I did last night while watching the Mythbusters!

IRISH WEEK: POGUE MAHONE!!
In honor of Saint Patty's Day on Thursday, this week is dedicated to the Irish, and to start off the week I did a quick caricature of my favorite Irish rocker, Shane MacGowan, frontman of "The Pogues." So here's to MacGowan, the Pogues, and all Celtic music!
If anyone has something about the Irish culture that they love, leave a request and I'll see what I can do!

Captain Ahab
"... to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee."
Captain Ahab of the whaling ship "Pequod" (Moby-Dick; or, The Whale)

Captain Horatio Magellan Crunch
"Nobody f***ing steals my Crunch recipe, you dirty piece of s***..."
Captain Horatio Magellan Crunch of the Good Ship "Guppy" (with Jean LaFoote, the Barefoot Pirate).

Edward Teach (Blackbeard)
Captain Edward "Blackbeard" Teach of the "Queen Anne's Revenge." He would put lit wicks in his hair to intimidate his captors, but it is said that he had never actually harmed anyone he had captured...
Thank you all for the suggestions, they helped out a lot!

SEA CAPTAIN WEEK: Captain Nemo
Captain Nemo of the Nautilus (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea).
If anyone has any requests for this week, it would be greatly appreciated. I can only find a few sea captains from the books that I have read, but if anyone knows any notable ones let me know.

The Missing Link
I have been researching freaks shows and sideshow stars for the past 3 days and have seen waaaay too much...
On a side note, I just started a new job, so that is why I didn't post yesterday. I will make up for whatever days I miss this week over the weekend, but I'll try my best to keep at it.
Also, any suggestions for this week could help a lot, there's a lot of sideshow freaks, but a lot of them are hard to draw caricatures of.
